As much as I love living in Los Angeles, I am not enjoying my sunburn. Despite my glamorous life as a film student, I too am susceptible to the sun's harmful rays. And today at our 8 hour film shoot I got burned badly. It hurts. Anyways, the Christianity project is coming along. My professor better appreciate this project.
What I really wanted to bring your attention to is the google software pack
Its got skype in it as well as some other cool applications. I think google is the new microsoft.

I Love Coach
This isn't really a post. I'm just wasting time I could be spending on my Christianity project. I talked with a few of my classmates and they haven't done anything which makes me feel a tiny bit better - but not much.
Instead I want to focus on how much I love Coach bags. There new brown and white one is so cute. Go take a look.

Random YouTube Find of the Day
Continuing our theme of YouTube soft core, here is the infamous Kylie Minogue Agent Provocateur commercial.
Today my former roommate and I went to the Agent Provocateur store in Melrose. It was very small, but what they had was really pretty. If you have money to spend and are in need of lingerie, go there.

Google introduces free 411 service
Its Friday night and I could be out right now, but I'm not. Instead I'm working on 400 years of Christian history. Sometimes I wish the pagans had won out, so I wouldn't have to do this assignment. Then again, I would just be working on 400 years of pagan history instead. Oh well.
On that note, did you know that google has introduced a new free 411 service? The number is 1-800-GOOG-411 its entirely automated and in beta right now. Go ahead give it a try. I made it look up Thai Spirit, a restaurant I already have the number to. Sneaky eh? I bet google had no idea that I already knew it. So much better than 1-800-FREE-411, except that they have real people to answer your calls.
Did you can also use google search through text messaging? Just text your iquiry to"Googl" at 46645 and you can look up stuff and get addresses. I tried to look up the definition of "to cobble" but all it gave me was an article about cobbles.

Making Money as a College Student
Money is important. In fact, money is so important that we worship it by ritually using it to pay for services. We also keep it hidden in shrines called "banks" and use "credit/debit cards" so we don't have to touch it. We also use the sacred mark of "$" to symbolize it. Therefore to be a good person you should make more. Take that cult of Isis.
Associated Content is awesome. They dub themselves "The People's Media Company" and allow users to publish their own articles, video and audio." Mildly interested? Here's the best part they pay you to publish articles. That's right you make $3 - $20 an article in return for giving them the right to republish it (you can also choose to make it non-exclusive and retain the rights.) They accept articles on anything topic - lifestyles, news, celebrities, how-tos etc. Oh and research papers. All you need is to sign up for free, some free time and a free pay pal account.
So join, submit and make some money. I/my pen name has already made $12.30 for less than 2 hours of work by complaining about letter grades. And now I get to tell people I'm a free-lance writer. Spiffy eh?

Random youtube find of the day
I can't take credit for today's find since Perez Hilton found it and posted it on his celebrity blog. (Which I read all the time because crazy celebrities make me feel like I'm normal)
No quiero enamorarme by Daniel Zueras
So apparently this is what music videos look like in other countries, and by music videos I mean porn. Or wait, is this softcore done to look like a music video?

Welcome to the Tokyolite
Hi there. Welcome to the first post of the Tokyolite created by me - Christy. I'm was born and raised in Tokyo, and now I've decided to share my extensive knowledge on the city in a blog. Don't expect this to be one of those boring "here is a Temple/I love green tea/Cherry blossoms are pretty" type blogs. I'm going to focus on places to go and things to see. Yes, expect a lot of restaurant reviews.
Expect all that and more - as soon as I get back to Tokyo in a couple of weeks. Right now I'm in Los Angeles - ignoring my 400 year Christian history schematic that's due Monday. For my view on letter grades and how pointless they are see here
